Bosphorus Bridge, also called the name of the Bosphorus Bridge is the first and one of the two bridges commentator who crosses the Bosphorus in Istanbul, Turkey, and thus linking Europe and Asia (the other is the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, which is called the Second Bosphorus Bridge).
The bridge is located between Ortaköy (on the European side) and Beylerbeyi (on the Asian side).
Bosphorus Bridge is a gravity anchored suspension bridge with the steel towers and hangers-mile with a deck attached to the aerobic zigzag steel cables, it is 1,560 meters (5,118 feet) long with a display
surface of 33.40 meters (110 feet).
The distance between the towers (main span) is 1,074 m (3,524 ft), and the total height of the towers is 165 meters (541 feet).
Bosphorus Bridge was the longest period of 4 suspension bridge in the world when it was completed in 1973, and the longest outside the United States, but at the present time, it is the longest suspension bridge for 21 runs in the world.
